When chakras are "blocked" or "unbalanced," it can manifest as physical ailments, emotional instability, or mental distress.
Chakra Balancing
The word Chakra comes from the Sanskrit, meaning 'spinning wheel'. The Chakras are the body’s energy centres. Through them we draw in energy for the benefit of our bodies - much as we draw oxygen into our lungs.
Chakras are whirling energy vortices which can vary in size, clarity, direction and speed of revolution, according to our state of health. Chakras are a focal point through which I can help to restore balance to the energetic system, by channelling through them the Healing energy that will help to facilitate self-healing.

Understanding your Chakras

Why Chakras can become blocked
Whenever we don’t succeed in addressing life's problems or resolving our issues then the negative energies involved remain unprocessed and could create imbalance in the energy system. During the course of our lives we inevitably encounter stressful or upsetting events. As most of us are busy people we tend to put on a brave face and carry on – ignoring, rather than addressing those things that bother us. What often results is that the energies we are ignoring affect the energy system, especially the Chakras, which become blocked, sluggish and depleted of energy.
When Chakras become blocked, the body gives out warning signals to draw our attention to the fact that something is wrong. Early warnings come in many guises, often in the form of aches, pains and disease. If ignored, the problem or symptom may deteriorate into something more serious; this could result in imbalances on the physical, emotional or mental levels of being, or a combination of all three.
For us to be healthy, we need to do as much work on ourselves as we can to ensure our chakras remain free-flowing.The Chakras are believed to link directly to the endocrine system, which controls hormone production throughout the body; this in itself is particularly important in maintaining homoeostasis (balance and harmony).
